Lake Garda - Fun parks

Different kinds of fun parks can be found mainly in the southern area of Lake Garda; you can climb the trees at the Jungle Park in San Zeno di Montagna where, following routes of different lengths and levels of difficulty, you can swing from tree to tree on vines or move around using cableways whilst, of course, surrounded by nature. For those who love water, near Lazise, there is Europe’s largest water park, Caneva World, which has several slides of different heights, white sand beaches, rapids, waterfalls and swimming pools for children. Next door to this park stands Movieland Studios, the theme park that reproduces Hollywood film sets and where you can also find two themed restaurants - Medieval Times, where you can watch medieval tournaments, with knights on horseback, whilst enjoying a medieval menu and the Rock Star Café, where you can dine in a museum dedicated to Italian music. The Alto Mincio water park is situated in Valeggio sul Mincio, inside you can find pizzerias and restaurants as well as attractions such as bumper boats, five-a-side football in soap suds, a castle, beach volley court and much more. Gardaland is perhaps the most famous fun park in Italy and offers many attractions, in actual fact a new one is built every year, not for the faint-hearted is the Tornado Blu and for the youngsters there is no shortage of rides and roundabouts with horses. Gardaland is also open at certain times in winter, for example during the Christmas holidays. If you are looking for a little relaxation then you should spend a day at the Thermal spa in Colà.
